By the way, the water birth is amazing I've been through all types of births (singletons, multiples, breach, c section, natural, VBAC, no pain meds, with pain meds, etc) but I yet have had the experience to deliver in a pool of water. Well I guess there’s always room for improvement next time! Ha ha ha.

I love receiving your messages and seeing all the great new photos. You are growing up fast and obviously having lots of fun. What a clever Mom you have, busy creating a new business with all those lovely food items. It looks like a really good idea - do hope it's going well.
Spring has arrived in England,( in the form of April showers today) so I have just got back from an expensive visit to the garden centre. Think I'll wait till tomorrow to do the planting; I am making a new bed and need to be creative!!
Clare and Andy are completing on their new home on Thursday which is very exciting, its old, built around 1900 but just what they wanted. It needs lots of work, new electrics, heating, kitchen, etc, etc but they will get a lot of that work completed before they have to leave the rented flat. I am invited down to see it on Friday. It's in Cardiff by the way, which is South Wales and only 2 hours away from here.
I do hope you will all make a trip to England one of these days, I should love to show you the beautiful place I live and you would be welcome to stay as long as you wished. You could use this as a base and travel around, we are well placed for allsorts of lovely places.
In the meantime I hope maybe next year to take a trip to Canada, would be lovely to see you all again.

Zsofi (Sophie)…is now almost two months old.
Dear Friends,
I know that it has been a little while since I last communicated with you, it is not that you have been forgotten … quite the contrary … however I have not had a great deal of time to sit down and write (at ANY length) to you all individually…not an excuse…demz just da faktz.
In any case, it seems that time is just flying by and that the baby is growing more-or-less according to THE PLAN. As of the last measurement, she is at the 5.51 kg. level…rapidly outgrowing the clothes deemed for the 1-3 month-old baby…and she is healthy…thank goodness…in the season of flu and the common cold I guess this is a real positive sign. Zsofi loves her baths… and is working lately on her finishing kick for the 200m. butterfly, is incredibly ‘enamoured’ with all things shiny and loves the music of Carlos Santana ( Shaman cd ) … you know … normal baby stuff !
Julianna is a little bit worn due to the rigors of breastfeeding every three hours (though she is genuinely loving this time) however, the baby has just recently made some strides to ‘fine dining’ every four hours or so after 10 pm …the wonders of 1 additional hour are greatly appreciated by mommy.
Father is generally (totally) oblivious to the nocturnal movements of all family members but does attempt to do all that he can in waking hours, to assist/cope with ALL of the B’s (outside of the one above) … burping, bathing … oft acting as boisterous bellow queller and bona-fide baby belly&back rubber…though many times on the receiving end of being beslobbered by the bonnie lass I am also a beneficiary of many a baby smile (to which I am truly beholden -- as in grateful) … believe me, its all-in-all a great…shall we say…experience……Bonus!

Greetings from England! We all send very happy birthday wishes to Viola for her first birthday and can well imagine the celebrations, cake, candles, presents just everything a little girl needs.
Both my little girls are now married and I will be sending photos as soon as I can. We had two wonderful days, very happy albeit tinged with sadness without dear Gordon.
Clare and Andy went to Mauritius, which was lovely, and Tracy and Mark are due back today from Tanzania and Zanzibar, some of the time on safari.
I think of you often, the photo you sent has pride of place and I look forward to another trip to Canada sometime soon.

Well hello Viola!!!
We can't believe it, you're going to be a whole 12 months old in less than a week. Mommy and Daddy must be very happy and excited. Mommy I think may be a little sad though, it's gone by so quickly?
You've had a very exciting month in October. Busy, partying with the gals, hanging out with mom and dad. Speaking of mom and dad...how are they? We haven't heard from them for a long time. Great pictures guys. Wow, first Halloween, first birthday, and pretty soon first Christmas (wait… second Christmas I guess). Aren’t these things just as much fun for parents! Who knew? I guess Viola will be on the computer soon. Molly was around two when she started. There is a game, I think Sesame Street Baby and Me that’s great for little newbies. It teaches kids to make the association between the mouse and the monitor, and the keyboard and monitor. After that there’s no stopping them.
