I enjoyed viewing the pictures of your summer fun and can hardly believe that Viola is now almost 9 months old. How time flies. Where did all of the blonde hair come from? She looks like a happy, healthy little girl and I am sure she is a delight. Having said that I must say that there are two little girls in my life (nearly 21 months old and just over 5 months) that seem to rank very high on my radar screen and we thoroughly enjoy each and every occasion that we get to participate in their lives.

Dear Viola,
it was fun getting your e-mail, it's always mama or papa that get stuff and when mama called me I was so excited that I got on all fours and crawled over at top speed. I finally got the groove, it's the best Viola! It's a whole new world out there when you can get around. When mama's not looking, I find all this great stuff to put in my mouth like spoons, measuring cups and paper. I have to be more careful though because I think they're on to me and up to some rearranging over the weekend. Mama calls me kis kecske...something to do with me climbing onto everything, have you heard that one before? My favourite is climbing up to the window and watching all the action outside, there's a big yellow bus that stops by our house and mama told me that one day soon I'll be riding in one of those things! So cool, can't wait! Hey, I'm already onto the cheerios kick so I figure it won't be too far away. Is it true that we can get together sometime soon in May? I'd love to just hang out in the pen and chill with you, shoot the poo-poo and catch up!

But also important, I know you are one lucky little girl to have such caring and loving parents. Your Father is kind, giving, generous and has the biggest heart. Dear Bandi/Lili! I emailed to Hungary - our 2nd cousin, Váradi-Szabó Éva who was here from Hungary this year, has a sister, Judit (Toti for nickname). Toti's husband, Sanyi (Melis) has internet and email - so I let them know of the good news, and to spread it around.... Éva & Toti's mother, Juszka Ilma (or Babinéni) was in Calgary in the late '60s and is 1st cousin to Duska L. Nagypapa, Mandy and so on. Juszka Ilma's mother, Simon Zsuzsanna( Vas Jánosné) and Simon Sanyibácsi, and Simon Margit (Duska Györgyné)(my grandmother) were all siblings - 5 of them actually...
Anyway - this was their congratulations sent here...

Enjoy this as much as possible. Was it a home birth then or did you have to go in? As you know, Andrea and I tried the home birth with Adam, but we had to go in after 16 hours with another 16 hours at the hospital and a c-section in the end. Good weight and size for you little one. Any pictures of the little one and mom? Bet your mom is happy. Another girl in the clan next to your sister. Got to catch up to your parents you know to even things out. Another 4 girls and all should be even. Did YOU survive?
